Munchy Monsters

We made monsters using fruit and vegetables. First the children looked at what was available to use for their monsters, they then went away to plan their monster. All monsters needed to have a body, eyes and mouth.

We've been tasting lots of new fruit and vegetables that we haven't had before. Today we tasted Apple cucumbers.

The first things we made in our classroom kitchen were grape caterpillars - grape bodies, banana head and chocolate chip eyes.
