Lazy Duck

We've been reading a story called Lazy Duck. It is about a very lazy duck who doesn't help the other animals on the farm. The cat chases the mice, the goat eats the weeds, the dog rounds-up the sheep and the chicken lays the eggs for the farmers tea, but naughty Lazy Duck just sits and teases the animals until the farmers say he's going to be cooked! Then he decides to help by eating insects out of the garden. He ends up being a busy duck.

Room 23 children are not lazy they do lots of jobs to help at home.
