Bertha and the Beeman

We've been reading Bertha and the Beeman by Jill Eggleton. The Beeman loved bees, every day and every night he would do the bee dance and say "lovely little things with lovely little wings. that what bees are!" But Bertha hated bees. Every morning and every night she would say "nasty little wings with nasty little stings. that what bees are!" Until one day Bertha fell off her ladder and the bees helped her by buzzing around so loudly that the Beeman came to help her. From that day on Bertha liked bees.
