Last week Kiwi Berries this week Passion-fruit!

We have been learning about fruits and vegetables.
No one in room 23 knew what a passion-fruit was, so we had a try!
First we cut it open and looked at all the slimy seeds, then we had a smell - delicious! I used a spoon to scoop a little bit out for each child.

"It was yum but it was crunchy" - Chris
"It smells nice" - Que-Ray
"Disgusting" - Janita
"It taste nice" -antown
"It's sour" - Pele

Observational drawing of passion-fruit

Benefits of observational drawing
• Slowing down, taking our time
• Learning to really look carefully and see
• Noticing details
• Realizing improvement comes with practice
• Becoming comfortable with mistakes
• Becoming confident in attempting something new
