We used
a pyramid net to make a 3D model.
We
did 2-3 layers of paper mache. First with newspaper then with white paper. Some
of us enjoyed getting our hands wet with glue and feeling the sticky slimy
glue. Some of us did not!
We
painted our pyramids yellow
To
make the mummies we wrapped wooden peg dolls using paper mache. After they were
dry we glued on googly eyes.
To
make the boxes for the mummies we used sparkly gel pens and yellow dye. We
coloured in templates of the lid and the base. We had to cut and fold then
construct the box.
